Talk About Your ProgramPowered by Eleven:6
Churches often see leadership potential long before a young leader knows how to name it. The challenge is creating enough structure, coaching, and learning to turn that potential into readiness.
Eleven:6 helps your church design a residency around its theology, culture, leaders, and ministry opportunities—while adding the academic architecture and operational support needed to make it sustainable.

From the front lines

“It was a great year of learning, growth, and stretching for me. I think I learned more, grew more and was stretched more these past few months than I have ever been. I enjoyed learning by going through the classes and I loved my placement.”

“Eleven:6 has been incredibly helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process. We were able to launch our ministry residency program in just a few months and have benefited greatly from the addition of residents to our ministry.”
Practical questions
A church residency is a structured season of ministry practice, mentoring, leadership development, and learning inside a local church. The exact role, duration, and compensation are set by the church.
Compensation varies by church and program. Some residencies are paid roles, some include housing or other support, and others are educational experiences. Those terms should be stated clearly before recruiting.
Some residency designs can connect to credit-bearing courses or degree pathways. The university controls admission, tuition, credit, transfer, and degree requirements.
A focused design can often move from discovery to launch within a few months. Staffing, academic options, recruiting, and the church calendar determine the final timeline.
